Ampang Waterfront

Ampang Waterfront, a modern city spot, has become a popular place to eat, shop and relax for the people in the Ampang area.

Among the host of eateries there are local food outlets as well as those offering international cuisine, from Korean to Italian and even Indonesian. Some shops are open until late at night but most shops close at about 10pm.

There are ample parking spaces in front of the shops as well as in the basement, and parking is free for visitors.

Located along Jalan Bukit Belacan, the mixed development grabs one's attention and draws the crowd, especially at night, with its many food outlets, furniture shops, jogging track, fountain in a courtyard and surau.

Developed by GMH Properties Sdn Bhd through a joint venture with the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), the site was formerly a shabby stretch with wooden illegal workshops, stalls and squatter homes.

The development is named after the river that flows behind it and offers a good view of Taman Kosas, Bukit Indah, Ampang Jaya and the Gombak forest reserve.
